Using non-Turing-complete languages, like PILOT, would be boring.

Using languages with no ability to express abstraction, like many
variants of Basic, would be both boring and frustrating.

Using languages with insufficient expressiveness and no decent
macro/rewrite system with which to add more, like Java, C, Pascal, and
such things, is frustrating, but rarely boring.
