[Gllug] X keyboard weirdness

Hi,

I hope someone can help,

I'm running debian unstable, 2.4.22-1-k7 kernel

Last night my keyboard stopped working in X, swapped the keyboard, no
avail, so I ssh'd in and reboot.

I can use the keyboard on a console, but when I start X no keyboard,
mouse works fine, but some (not all) of the keystrokes in X get seem to get echoed to
the console. Very odd, oh well me thinks lets try some updates, so a
apt-get update and dist-upgrade later. Still no keyboard in X.

I'm also getting a load of

Not loading .note.GNU-stack

error messages in the console.

I've tried Xkb and that works so it's almost like X isn't getting the
keyboard driver, I've tried everything I know of so over to you guys.

My X config file is available at

http://budgester.homeip.net/~budgester/XF86-Config-4

Has anyone else had this problem, or any ideas on how to fix it ?
