Devfs has so far fallen into the "just say no" bucket for me, so I
can't comment on that. However, adding a line like:

	alias scsi_hostadapter dc395x_trm

into /etc/modules.conf may work. Obviously, change dc395x_trm for the
particular SCSI driver you're using.
