It isvery unlikely that you would have been able to make it anywhere for a 
6pm appointment so that was probably the best course for you.

What's to boast about? Walking in central London for a couple of hours and 
standing in a park for an hour afterwards isn't exactly amazing.

If I believed that it would have a real impact upon the course our govt. 
is taking I might feel proud of it but it wont. Tony Blair has convinced 
himself of the absolute moral rightness of this crusade and it's become a 
matter of religious faith for him as he indicated by switching his 
arguements away from WMD to "the humanitarian duty to free the people of 
Iraq".

I imagine that members of Al Queda also feel that their violence is 
justified because in their eyes there is an absolute moral rightness to 
their crusade.
