[Gllug] Alcatel speedtouch modem: time to ditch Suse?

I used mandrake 8.something and the alcatel speedtouch was configurable on 
install and worked fine when I used it.  I now use Debian (on a LAN) so I don't 
know anything about the more recent Mandrake releases.
