[Gllug] Configuring ALSA on an old PC

Hello,
   I am trying to set up ALSA on a P133 running Debian 3.0 and Kernel 2.4.18
with a Yamaha OPL3-SA2 card.

The alsaconfig facility has asked for the DMA size in kB, between 4-64kB.
The only information I have found is mask 0xb, 8-bit only, speed type F.

This looks to me like 2KBytes. Am I correct? Will it not work?
