You may have to compile a kernel yourself on another box.  This might be a
problem with the EBDA.  Maybe try yet another distro's install floppy/CD
which may have a kernel that works with your hardware.

Most of the install disks use SYSLINUX which uses a FAT filesystem, so it
shouldn't be too hard to replace the kernel on it with one you have
made/found.

Do you know what chipset it uses?  And what BIOS?
