[Gllug] Slow NFS mount on Knoppix - solved

In case anyone's interested, I eventually solved the NFS problem on
Knoppix.  By default, portmapper is not started on the Knoppix client
box.  If you start that (with "/etc/init.d/portmap start") before
attempting any NFS mounts then all works smoothly.
