No. I don't use caps lock at all, so they're both mapped to control.
The reason for remapping the caps lock key is that historically, the
key to the left of "A" was always a control key. It was only with
the rise of PCs that it moved to the bottom left (no, I still don't
know why). Old habits are hard to break, and having control to the
left of "A" just feels natural to me, so I ensure that it's set up
that way. In the past, I used to put caps lock on the sun audio mute
key, or the num lock key, neither of which I use, but I ended up not
using it, so I just don't bother any more.
