Start wherever you like, just get to 2,000,000 and show how they were 
exterminated by the British. 

The undoubted and unforgivable cowardice of that Parliament failing Ireland 
shames both Parliament and the British. 

The problem here, however, is the definition of 'exterminate'. All definitions 
of the word I've found require that a) there was a policy (ie, one cannot 
'accidentally' exterminate) and b) that the deaths of all are sought. (ie, 
one cannot exterminate every second person).

Such policy as there was, among other things, misguidely attempted to get the 
Irish 'on their bikes'. So, the policy was not one of extermination. 
Trevelyan (head of relief) was clear that he thought God would choose which 
of the Irish were to live or die. Therefore, the intent was also not one of 
extermination. Criminal indifference? Yes. Extermination? No.
