[Gllug] GSM modem - a bit off topic

Hi,

I have developed a Linux application for a customer that allows users to
send SMS messages to groups of people via a web/e-mail interface.  These
messages go via ftp to a bulk delivery service provider who actually send
the SMS messages.

The customer now wants two way communications so they can receive SMS
messages.

I've looked for GSM modems with serial connections and found a the Wavecom
FASTRACK Modem but can't find any UK distributors.

All the others seem to be adaptors for phones/pdas or a couple of PCMCIA
cards, but I want to keep it simple and external via a serial link.

Anyone know of any GSM modems available in the UK or anyone who provides
such a service (anyone know how they do the BB voting etc?).
