I'm in the army, Royal Corps of Signals. My job for the last 4 1/2 years has 
been as an "IT Specialist" which in army terms means you need to know a bit 
about everything but not trained in anything particular in case you leg-it 
and get a proper job. Basically I've been a sysadmin on nt and Unix systems 
and had to pick up everything else as I go along. Still, only another 18 
months to serve and then I join civvy street. Still trying to get the idiots 
than run the forces to look at Linux, I get lots of "oh doesn't that look 
good, but what do you expect us to do about it". I can but try !!
