Sounds familiar. I once had a 5 hour round trip to go and press the
power button on a monitor. They'd assured me repeatedly on the phone
that they'd double checked it. But then again, these were the same
people that broke a QIC drive by putting the tape in backwards, and
then levering it in with a spoon when the metal plate prevented
them from pushing it in using normal force...
