That may be so, but every time a fly-by-wire airliner kills a lot of people, 
the pilot is invariably blamed!  I will not ever fly in one of those 
fly-by-wire Airbus deathtraps - I've seen too many catastrophic software 
and/or hardware failures on those things - one of the reasons I left that 
particular job!
