Have you emailed support@ the relevant ISP?

They will be able to check their RADIUS (dialup authentication) logs and 
see what is happening there.

If you try with UKFSN I'll be able to help in that respect.

You should also turn on debuging mode in ppp and get the full logs as you 
will then be able to to determine exactly where things are failing.

Well an existing default route will always make things interesting. Have 
you ensured that the ppp options file does not include defaultroute as 
otherwise it will fail if it cannot reset the default route.

Why do you have 0.0.0.0 as a route via ethernet? Do you have Internet 
access that way? Have you tried removing the default route and then 
starting the ppp connection?
