hiya
i've got eth0 and eth0:0
i want to take eth0:0 down (need the ip)
the server is live and co-located and i don't really want to travel into
london today
how do i take it down?
have played with this before, and as far as i can remember i had to take
eth0 down, and then bring eth0 back up..
(ifconfig eth0:0 down didn't work, if my memory serves me right)
is this the right way, or is there a better way? :)
(linux 2.4.x)
thanks in advance
