Even selecting "Plain Text" ?

I don't remember changing anything else in Outlook to fix this, though it
was nearly two years ago. Anyway just checked my settings and I'm sendng out
in plain text (for new emails. For replies I've not found a way of
automatically doing it)

I *think* there may be ways of overriding user setting on the exchange
server - if this is the case and your exployer has done this then I think
you're stuck :(

Tools->Options and then the Mail Format tab. First drop down is message 
format.

All that does is ensure that I send mail out in both formats (I've done that
already).
