John reminded us that Linux is "downright fun". So what are the fun
things you've discovered/built/got working under Linux recently?

My nomination is Sweep, an audio editor/player/djing tool. Very slick
interface and very actively developed! The developer is specifically
trying to get feature requests from DJs to get it to work well for
them.

The coolest thing about Sweep is the Scubber. Drag the mouse over a
part of the sound and it scubs across it, sounding like it would if it
were vinyl. Brilliant!
