I had the complete workshop manual for my 20 inch Microvitec monitor,
made in Bradford, but they had to import a spare field scan chip specially
for me which took about 1 year. CPC did not have any stocks. The real
problem was the clean innocent looking little 1 microfarad capacitor which
had gone open circuit and was no longer removing flyback spikes. I did
manage to fix the fault, but a completely different fault blew a hole in the
power supply board about 1 month later.
