It only works on mails the are cc'd to multiple people that reside on
the same server.
The single copy of the mail is stored and a pointer placed into each
users mailbox. If the user modifies the mail and saves it to their
mailbox then a second copy is created. When all of the users have
deleted their pointer to the mail, then the actual content is deleted.
A nice feature, but not enough to redeem the other (bad) features of
Exchange.
