[Gllug] Samba with NT/XP browsing problems [Hand Holding]

When Samba is started on this box, something happens to the visibility
of all of the other shares on the network, namely they disappear with
the exception of my Debian box.  What have I misconfigured that would
cause this to occur?

Do you mean the other Windows machines are no longer visible?

If so my guess would be that either a) your workgroup name is misconfigured
or b) you have the 'OS LEVEL' set too high on the Samba box.

This would make Samba master browser on your network.
