The answer will very much depend upon the router you have and how many IPs 
you get.

One of your IPs will be assigned to the ATM interface of your router by 
DHCP. If your router supports it you can use bridging or rarp to hand this 
off to an internal system.

If you have multiple IPs you simply treat your router as a proper router.

Obviously you need to use their gateway - your traffic has to pass through 
it to get to the 'net.

You're free to run your own name servers or resolve via other ones though.
