The Iiyama monitors come with an extended on-site warranty, which is probably 
a good thing.  

However, I have yet to see any LCD / TFT monitor which approaches the quality 
of even a cheap(ish) CRT job.  A CRT monitor may be much bulkier, but I'll 
put up with that for a good while yet!
