Not that it will necessarily help. Red Hat's dependecy problems are
non-existent. Up2date will resolve and dependencies just as apt will.
The problem is when people try and mix third party RPMs with the system
packages (for example with Ximian). That's not solvable with either apt
or up2date. It's solved by having a documented packaging policy that
third parties stick to. Debian does slightly better on that front,
partly as a consequence of having less third parties making packages
(because Debian includes more to start with).
