[Gllug] XP - Linux dual boot (and ADSL help sought).

Just installed SuSE 8.2 over two XP machines.... no problems at all.

Dual boot, no problemo! Grub takes care of all that:-) The XP stuff remains.

BTW, can anybody help with a Alcatel Speed Touch ADSL modem (the frog) with Suse 8.2 (1.1 and 1.2.1 versions of the Speedtouch software).

I am 99% of the way there! I have copied the firmware etc etc. BTCLICK service, which works fine with an ageing Dell (running Windows 2000 Server) which we are trying to decommission.

"pppd call adsl" just emits the normal odd characters, even when I start ip-up (ifconfig) by hand.
