personal choice would be this way (the linux.bin file) as it dosent affect
any m$ partitions (ie you can have 98 and xp and linux will then fit in ) As
for reading NTFS no you dont have to recomplie the kernel if you are runnign
red hat just goto
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/redhat.html
and follow the instructions. the standard set up alowws read only, but you
can change it to read and write if you want.
