I disagree quite strongly. Autorunning a CD allows the producer of the CD 
to run potentially malicious content on your PC before you have a chance 
to act. It's happened several times in the world of Windows users.

I was very disappointed when this kind of thing was introduced on Linux 
in some distros recently.

Going out of our way to facilitate the errors of other platforms is a 
mistake.
