I had a similar thing happen last week, it annoys me too. If the 
spammers are US based you could sue them for defaming your (good) 
reputation (and subsequent loss of earnings b/c of that). As Tet pointed 
out we should have some measure of protection in December, but thats 
assuming that you can track down the spammers.

Personally I'd like to see mandatory certificates for SMTP servers, at 
least it would be more difficult to stop spammers using your email address.
