you can apparently use lilo as a chainloader to run ntloader, therefore
not needing the windows boot mbr thing. (apparently)

im sure putting something like ..

label=winnt
   other=/dev/hda1'


into the lilo.conf and installing it should make lilo load ntloader from
the boot sector of that partition.
