How about setting your NFS server/clients to use NFS over TCP instead of
NFS over UDP ? Its fully supported in v3 protocol & in fact recommended
for high traffic networks, since with NFS+UDP, performance really suffers
as network congestion increases. I'm not sure if other bits of NFS such
as lockd will continue to be UDP based though ?
