After having a chat with Phil Hands at the London Perl Workshop last
Saturday about some of the features of Aegis - a mature and virtually
unknown GPL'd configuration manager ( http://aegis.sourceforge.net/ ),
I've been giving some thought about exploiting the Subversion
pre-commit hook to add in those features.

For those concerned about Subversion's centralization, you may want to
consider svk ( http://svk.elixus.org/ ).
