aegis strikes me as a wonderful idea, with the huge downside that *it*
forces you to work *its* way, and if you don't agree, or you find
that it's not ideal, you're screwed.
(As in, it's not a version control system: IIRC it tries to reimplement
make and dependency analysis and testsuite frameworks and and and...)
