Talking about cache sizes, we recently got in some Itaniums with a
9Mbyte cache.
Jeez.... we had an IBM mainframe when I was in high energy physics which
had 4Mbytes of main memory...

On that note, I recently rad a definition of supercomputing as
'problems which don't fit into level 1 cache'
