I have tried yum on our _old_ RedHat machines too -- not the same. On
debian I can use aptitude to go through different upgrade scenarios
before I do them... This means that on a well configure debian system
you can look at different versions of packages and find a combination
that doesnt break dependencies. Also in terms of how quick you can do
this yum was disapointing (probably my mistake) and looking for
documentation for yum is quite adventorous...
