[Gllug] problems with ADSL connection to www.kernel.org

Is anyone else having problems connecting to www.kernel.org / ftp.kernel.org ?

My ADSL connection at home (via UKFSN) seems to work fine to UK/Europe sites,
but kernel.org is a complete washout  - 200bytes a second if I'm lucky.
Other U.S. sites I have tried seem reasonable, although slow.
