Looks as though I'm being a little too eager ;-)  I think I'll stick to
the most recent stable 2.4.x when I setup the new box and wait until one
of the big Linux distros release with a 2.6.x kernel, before trying it
out.  I'll be sensible and give 2.6 a go on a dev box for a few months
too.
