Ok, if you're using alsa 0.9 and have oss emulation enabled, then probably
for mplayer you should use "-ao oss" for now (until they improve their alsa
support), and for video, if you have everything (DRM/DRI/etc) set up
properly, "-vo gl" might work well, else "-vo xv" or "-vo xvidix", assuming
x86 and a working vidix setup.
