If only they could limit it to non-voice traffic, it'd be nice.  Not
gonna happen, of course, while there's a buck to be made...

I'm sure I read a fair while back in Metro's TfL page that they were
installing a full GSM network for driver-to-base communications.  In
that piece they said that it becoming available for others was still
up in the air.
