Sadly I'm tied to a 'preferred supplier' so had to go with a Dual Xeon
SCSI system (HP wx8200).

with 2 x 2.8GHz processors, 4GB of RAM, 2 x 36GB 15k SCSI disks the unit
came in @ £3.5k 

just glad it's not my cash
