5a)	Press the rest button again
5b)	replace the battery cover and slide the switch to normal

Errm... isn't there a step between 5) and 6), namely to do a hard
reset again?  I think it is not striclty necessary in all
circumstances but I have seen problems reported on the mailinglist
when it wasn't done.
