GND (http://www.gnd.com) will put it together for you, and ensure you
get all the compatible bits, and at a good price. I've used them for a
few boxes and they've been very good. Just make sure you're clued up on
what Serial ATA RAID will work with your distro - GND will happily
recommend stuff with non-free drivers, which is a right pain in the arse
if you aren't running redhat (and anyway, non-free drivers make baby
jesus cry).
As I (and some others) have said before, if you can stretch to it, get
3ware RAID. Also you might want to consider AMD rather than Intel, more
bang for your buck (especially if you are able to run a 64-bit OS). the
64 bittery is all a bit experimental though, so be prepared for some fun
if you go down that route.
