[Gllug] EPOS systems

Chap upstairs wants to bar code all his stock and run a EPOS system.

He's a mac user but would be more than happy to try linux solutions.
At the moment he keeps finding firms selling windows products (which
isn't a problem really), but the database tends to be Access which I
don't think will be good enough long term, though I probably just
biased.

Anyone had to implement one and have any recommendations.

He's losing the will to live, so there could be some consultancy work
here for someone so inclined.

He'll need the bar code reader / printer, and the stock control s/w.
He wants to be able to produce sales lists and reorder amounts based
on supplier codes and simplify the daily grind of reordering stock.

Ideally it'd produce a file so that he could keep his website stock
levels up to date too, but that isn't too important.

Feel free to get in touch off list, and I'll pass your details on to him.
