YAML++

I prototyped a couple of small apps (address-book and blogengine) using
YAML as a storage format that could be used by Perl, Python and Ruby.
Interop between the three was fine.

It was great for the simple stuff i needed, it also fills a nice niche
where RDF is too complex.[0]
