Simple answer: yes. You can get a 256MB SD card for 50 quid on TCR, though.
ISTR it's just about possible to fit the compiler and tools onto a plain
Zaurus, but don't plan on compiling anything of any size on there. You'll
rapidly run out of space.

For any serious development, use a cross compiler.
