I'm sure this is not your answer, but I experienced this with a laptop; turned
out to be dried marmalade on the mousepad -- cleaning it off stopped the
problem.

OT -- and directed at everyone -- we're after someone who prints flyers.
Nothing major, two colours and black on light card, size A6, 2000 or so this
time round. Work for a printer or prepared to recommend one? I'd appreciate
knowing, Tx.
