In having no basic skills, I argue that in the time of covent based education
this was with illness, family poverty and when one left at 14 plus. In
receiving awards and being a post graduate in technical disciplines with Masters due
and MA for my 57th birthday I feel that I enable those rule based thinkers.
In doing code in connectionist binary modelling in neuropsychology I do not
have perfect maths and English as have agrammatism due to brain injury. It is
basic skills that are used for backpackers who have degrees and some never use
the degree or the basic skills when working in tourism unskilled industries.
Indeed many rich and famous people had no formal schooling to find their own
specialism.

Is it then the mantra that if you can write an essay without spell checker
and can use mathematical equations that you can see a pattern in science as
Watson and Crick did with someone elses help, can see that indigenous people are
not getting sick when using a certain root, can see that the office has
behavioural conflicting personalities etc.

To see or use thought in a non guided rule system way learning has to be
lifelong and disputable. Orators are well versed actors, where as independant
thinkers chose hypotheses that challenge the rule based system by short hand
thinking to the minute factor that is outside the rule based. Hence why we now use
maggots when really ancient medicine told us that it worked. The rules of
science manipulated to patterns of behaviour show that abhorance of these
creatures and the simple equation.
