ls -l /dev/ttyUSB[01]
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     uucp     188,   0 Dec 12 18:02 /dev/ttyUSB0
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     uucp     188,   1 Dec 12 18:02 /dev/ttyUSB1
[root at localhost]# ls -l /dev/usb/ttyUSB[01]
crw----rw-    1 root     root     188,   0 Dec 12 18:02 /dev/usb/ttyUSB0
crwx---rwx    1 root     root     188,   1 Dec 12 18:02 /dev/usb/ttyUSB1

Does this help any, as I haven't a clue!
