[Gllug] anyone know a source for 3.5" DSDD floppy disks?

Well I suppose I hodn't considered these sorts of machines.
Floppies are really very old though and far too unstable for general use.

| Not is they're *really* secure. Trust me, I work with servers like this.
You mean they are or they're not secure?
As long as you don't send the key over a link you can't completely
trust (ie. verified inter-dmz network) this is surely secure enough (scp
rather than cut&paste of course).

| Email is rarely installed (for security reasons among others) and email
| traffic will normally be blocked by a number of firewalls.
Once the message is encrypted you can send it over any plaintext medium.

| Floppies are neccessary on lots of installations.
I would say easier, simpler and more common rather than necessary,
however I suppose I could admit that there are surely some
machines/OSs/distros where floppy is [presently] the only choice.

| Not when I was trying. I had to hack a boot floppy.
The installer, which was always the worst part, finally annoyed enough
debian maintainers that it got a complete overhaul which is only nearing
completion now.
Anyway enough about floppies.
They're probably needed on a few occasions but they are, frankly, shit.
