Have you read the Linux IP Masquerade HOWTO?

I've had great results with it and the accompanying
rc.firewall-2.4-stronger ruleset.  I recommend reading the HOWTO in its
entirety working through it as you go.

If you still have problems after that, then you'll have a better
understanding of what's going on and will be better placed to obtain
assistance.
