[Gllug] Drive array speed

I did a little more testing, and found out that its only the write speed
that was a problem. There wasn't a battery, therefore no write cache, so
I wasn't expecting great performance but was still surprised that it was
so slow. Saying "that database restore a couple of days ago would've
happened in half the time on one of the servers that we're about to
declare obsolete" had the desired effect on the purse strings. Battery
Backed Write Cache Enabler is a good name for a few small batteries on a
circuit board if you want to charge a lot for it, but it made a big
difference to performance.
